Obituary:
Robert Christopher Contreras entered into this world with great joy in San Pedro, CA on July 28, 1982 to Jerrie and Arthur Contreras. Robert left this world too soon August 24, 2020. Robert was vibrant, well spoken, and educated. He was naturally warm hearted with a heart of Gold. He loved life and everyone in his life. Robert loved being a husband to Samantha Contreras, Father to his four beautiful childrenAlysha23, Robert Jr 21, Cephas (Shane) 19 and Christopher 17. Robert was the type of person, once you met him you never forgot him because of the wonderful sense of humor and his intriguing conversations and great stories of life. Robert loved each and every person in his entire family. He made sure you knew you were important in his life. Everyone was special to him. He would show his love by his warm and companionate heart. His family and friends meant the world to him.
Robert was a totally awesome son! A wonderful brother and a terrific nephew. He showed great respect to his Grandparents. Robert loved his uncles and aunts with all his heart, his cousins as brothers and sisters, every niece and nephew was his heart to him. I know they well all truly miss his love.
Robert started elementary school in Las Vegas at Ronzonie Elementary. Then in 1992, his family moved to Woodlake CA. He attended Woodlake Elementary, Woodlake Middle School and Woodlake Union High School. He worked at Sequoia Lumber Company with his father Arthur and Brother Shane. Then he joined the Pile Drivers Union in Wilmington, CA.
Robert leaves a giant hole in our hearts that will never be able to replace. He loved riding his motorcycle, going on trips with his uncle Rudy. He started fishing at a young age with his Popo, where he got his first fishing pole, tackle and gear. Robert spent a lot of time with his wife, children, brothers and Mom. His greatest love was family. He was a very giving young man, if you needed something, he would find a way to give it.
