Obituary:
Anna went to be with her Lord and Savior on February 1, 2021. Anna was born on May 18, 1940 in Shawnee Oklahoma to Orville and Minnie Lee Owens. Anna was formerly married to Johnnie Steinert. Anna was a cosmetologist by trade, but stopped working when her only daughter, Melissa was born. She loved being a mom and it showed. All of Melissa's friends loved coming to the house where she baked and cooked for them. The house and the cookie jar were always full! She was involved in People's Church for over 25 years, and never missed an opportunity to share her faith with anyone who would listen. She loved art and to paint with her art friends. They traveled all over the world together. Her greatest delights were her granddaughters Hailee and Hannah. She was the best Nona around! She loved her son in law as well, calling him “The best son in law EVER!”
Anna is survived by her daughter, Melissa and son in law Leland Howard, her granddaughters Hailee Howard and Hannah Howard. She is also survived by her brothers Don Owens and Leon Owens, their wives and her nephew and nieces.
A private service will be held. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date due to gathering restrictions. Please see Facebook for information.
The family would like to thank Heritage Crossing and their nurses for their excellent care of Anna during her final days.
In lieu of flowers, a scholarship fund has been created. Please send to Cross City Church 2777 E. Nees Fresno, CA 93720. Please write "Anna Steinert Memorial Scholarship" in the memo.
Condolences may be sent to the family at www.evansmillerguinnchapel.com or Tulare County Obituaries at https://www.facebook.com/groups/2072945459676292. Services entrusted to Evans Miller Guinn Chapel.

So sorry. Rennie was a wonderful cousin. She was one of the first to see me when I was born. Melissa and the girls were her reason for living. May God bless you all.

Great memories from the Little Art Club and the wonderful friendship she had with my mom. My sympathy to her family. Keeping all who loved her in my thoughts and prayers. Hopefully Tina, Lucy and Anna are painting together in heaven. Rest In Peace Anna.
