Obituary:
Stanley Monroe Cass was born in Visalia, California on April 9, 1957 to Grady Monroe Cass and Shirley Fern Baxter. He passed away on February 14, 2022 in Visalia, surrounded by family. Stanley spent his career as a truck driver. Stanley was a loving and kind man. His children and granddaughter were his life. Stanley loved going to his granddaughter’s cheerleading games. He loved to take her to school and picking her up each day. He loved taking funny pictures with his granddaughter Alyssa. Stanley loved riding around in his pick-up with his dog Bandit. In his younger years he liked to race cars. He loved spending time with his family on trips at Pismo dunes, camping, and riding three-wheelers. Stanley’s kids grew up going in the truck with their dad. Teresa and his granddaughter, Alyssa went in the truck with him a lot. Stanley’s son followed in his dad’s footsteps and now has a truck of his own. They would often talk on the phone every day and night when Stanley was out on the road. Stanley was preceded in death by his father Grady Cass, his mother Shirley Cass, his brother Clayton Cass, and his sister Cheryl Newell. He is survived by his wife Teresa Cass, daughter Alesha Cass, son Stanley Cass, and granddaughter Alyssa Cass all of Exeter. He is survived by one brother Brady Cass and his wife Sheral of Farmersville. As well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Stanley was also well-known by many friends he made on the road driving trucks. He will be deeply missed by everyone. We as a family have many fond memories traveling the road with him in his 18 wheeler. Life will never be the same with Stanley gone. He was the best dad, grandpa, husband, and friend anyone could ask for. Stanley was a good father to Alesha and Stanley. All their lives he was, is, and always will be loved and he always made us feel loved. We love you dad. Visitation will be held Tuesday March 1, 2022 at Evans Miller Guinn Chapel from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Graveside Service will be held Wednesday March 2, 2022 at the Exeter District Cemetery at 2 p.m.
