E.J. - Fowler - age: 73
(November 08, 1935 to August 20, 2009 ) Resident of Visalia, California Visitation Information: A Memorial Pot Luck will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2009 at 10:00 at Mooney Grove Park in Visalia. Obituary: E. J. Fowler, age 73 was born in Stigler, Oklahoma in 1935 to William and Lutisha Fowler. He passed away at home in Visalia on August 20, 2009 surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by his parents E. J. served his country in the U.S. Army. He is survived by his loving family; former wife, Carol Peterson of Visalia; three sons, Michael Clayton Fowler of Woodlake, Leithon Wayne Fowler of Visalia, and Jason Leroy Fowler of Mounds, Oklahoma; two brothers, Roy Fowler of Visalia and Bobby Fowler of Dinuba; two sisters, Wanda Boswell and Arlene Lowe both of Oklahoma; 7 grandchildren, two great grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren on the way and other extended family members and a host of friends. E.J. was a great uncle to me,my brother and sister, he was like a father to us and loved like one. We knew when he was mad at us he chewed his tongue and his vain on his forehead would bulge out (we knew to run). But he also knew when we needed to talk or just a smile. E.J.- You were a great bother you will always be loved & missed but never forgotten. You were always there for me you never turned me away. It's very upsetting when a loved one dies. But the thing is not to be sad but remember the good times. Don't dwell on the pain but rejoice that he is no longer in pain. Our grandfather who is a dad, brother, uncle, great grandfather, will always be remembered for his hard dedication and love for his family. We love u grandpa. Rest In Peace.

It's so hard to belive your gone, I was sure to see you live to be 100 years old and still running circles around us! I am going to miss you soooo much Papa you were the greatest man I ever knew. You are my HERO! I can't wait till I see you agian, take it easy up there don't get Jesus too tired lol! I love you Papa!
