Obituary:
Burlin was born on September 2, 1922 in Mansfield Missouri to Charlie Thomas and Amy (See) Keys. He moved to the Exeter area at the age of 18. He married Alberta “Sis” in 1945 and she passed away in 1983. He served with the US Army in WWII and was decorated with the Bronze Star and Purple Heart. He was also nominated for the Silver Star. He loved to Trout Fish and travel. In December of 1983 he married Ruthelma and they have made their home in Exeter. They were members of the Pentecostal Church. He was a very generous man donating too many charities. He also liked his metal detecting. He had a special love for the Grandkids and would spend time playing with them. He is preceded in death by one son, Raymond Teague.
Burlin is survived by his wife of 28 years, Ruthelma of Exeter, children Richard Keys of Exeter, Robert Griffith of Buckeye AZ, Pat Ennis of Visalia, Christine Kimbley of Visalia, Rita Sanders of Exeter, Stella Cullum of Fort Gipson OK, and Brenda Smith of Visalia. He is also survived by on Sister Lois M. Price of Okmulgee OK and 20 grandchildren and 43 great grandchildren.
