Friends and family are invited to attend a celebration of Bill’s life on Saturday May 5, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Ritchies Barn located at 16338 Ave 308, Visalia, CA 93292. Burial will be in the San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery.

Obituary:
Billie Dee Camren October 8, 1933 to April 27, 2012 "A golden heart stopped beating, two shining eyes at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best." Billie Dee Camren was born in Missouri on 10/8/1933 and passed away on Friday 4/27/12 in Visalia, CA. Bill served in the United States Navy. He is a Naval Veteran of the Korean and Vietnam War. While Bill was stationed in Yokosuka, Japan he met his wife of 57 years, Janis Camren, at a roller skating rink. When Bill got out of the Navy he went into the grocery business where he retired from Alpha Beta Grocery Store. He then became a rural route carrier for the US Postal Service where he retired. Bill was actively involved with the BVA (Blind Veterans Association) where he would attend meetings, schooling and fishing trips for the blind. He was the biggest Dallas Cowboys fan. He enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, music and going to the casino for relaxtion and fun. Bill was preceded in death by his daughter, Cindy Camren. Bill is survived by his wife Janis Camren, daughter Brenda Camren, daughter Angela Taggart and her husband Rian Taggart of Chehalis, WA., granddaughter Tiffany Ingersoll and her husband Brint Ingersoll of Virginia, a sister Doris Sprague and her husband Harold Sprague of Ventura, CA. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, 2 sister-in-laws and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
