Obituary:
Justin Davis McPhail, 34, passed away on August 9, 2015 at his home in Elderwood, California.
Justin was born on November, 10, 1980 in Visalia, California. Justin attended and graduated from Woodlake High School in 1998. While there Justin pursued his passion of football. As a senior he was voted first team all league defense and the team’s best defensive lineman. After high school he continued his football career at the collegiate level, playing for the COS Giants. Justin was the starting offensive center for the 1998 Conference Championship team. Justin had recently begun coaching for Woodlake High School as a Junior Varsity assistant coach.
Justin was an avid outdoorsman. The mountains were his second home. Justin loved to camp, hunt, and fish. He was always looking forward to his yearly out of state hunting trips with his friends and family.
This led to his career as the Tulare County road maintenance resident in Badger for 8 years. Justin then moved on to work for the Sequoia National Park Service as a heavy equipment operator. He was currently working alongside his father for Twin Butte’s Farming.
He was an amazing son, brother, uncle, and friend. Justin was a devoted fan to his Dallas Cowboys. He loved all animals, especially his dog Reb. He loved to spend time with his nieces, and they loved being with their Uncle Justin. Justin always said his family was his everything. He is survived by his Mother Tonya McPhail, his father Larry McPhail, his sister and brother in law Brittney and Luis Valencia, and his two nieces Gracie and Olivia Valencia.
