Obituary:
Brett Arthur Neumann of Tulare, CA passed on February 11, 2010 from the arms of his loving family into the loving arms of his Lord. Brett was born on February 13, 1961 to Duane and Dodie Neumann in Webster, SD. The adored baby-of-the-family matured into an athletic young man. He earned a full scholarship to USD for his excellence in football. He graduated with a BS in Health and Physical Education. On September 8, 1984 he married the love of his life, Lori Regier. Their marriage was founded on their strong faith and filled with affection. They built a happy life together and had two beautiful children. By the emulation of Christ’s provisional love, Brett was an extraordinary husband and father. Brett and his brother, Mark, were entrepreneurs of a small advertising business. Eventually, Brett began a vocation in classified advertising. Diligently, he managed for the majority of his career at the Visalia Times Delta. Later, he moved to The Fresno Bee until 2007.
Brett was survived by his parents, Duane and Dodie Neumann; brother, Mark Neumann, sister Marsha Johnson; his wife of 25 years, Lori Neumann; and children, Jayme Cornett, Matt Cornett, and Joshua Neumann.
Arrangements entrusted to Evans Miller Guinn Exeter Chapel.

“Soon you will read in the newspaper that I am dead. Don’t believe it for a moment. I will be more alive than ever before.”

My heart goes out to the family of Brett. I rejoice with Brett's family knowing that Brett was born of God and is now face to face with Jesus. Brett is an overcomer, and I'm so glad I knew him in this life. I know his family will miss him and we weep with them. He sat behind me in 6th grade, and because his brother Mark married my sister Laurie, I had the privilege of knowing him a little while longer. His precious wife Lori is a true woman of God that has shown us all what it means to care for someone with love and compassion. We will remember you fondly Brett and be praying for your family. God bless the Neumann's and keep them close to your heart.

Oh what a strange world we live in as believers. We are left behind to grieve and miss our husband, father, son, brother and friend while the angels in heaven rejoice at his homecoming. We can take comfort knowing because of Jesus' promise, Brett is now at The Savior's feet waiting for the rest of us to come home. I got to know Brett, Lori and their family through the AWANA ministry. What a vision they had for young people to know, love and serve the Lord Jesus. I am forever thankful that Brett encouraged and supported Lori in starting a Junior and Senior High AWANA program. Our family has been truly blessed by his dedication. May all the Neumann family feel the loving arms of Jesus surround you. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

To Lori and family, I rejoice with you that Brett is with The Lord and in perfect Glory now. But I also grieve with you at the loss of such a Godly and wonderful man. I remember Brett as always having a warm smile on his face. Even though I lost track of you all, I always prayed for God's mercy and strength for you. Now I pray God's comfort and peace as well. Blessings to you, Laura Cromer
