Obituary:
Judith Roberta (Anthony) Stimson was born in Exeter, California to Robert and Nadine Anthony November 25, 1940 and got her angel wings, December 6, 2018. She fought a fierce battle with her cancer and her recent illness. She was at peace in the end. She grew up in Exeter and attended Lincoln, Wilson and EUHS, graduating with the class of 1958. She has always been instrumental in keeping tabs on her class and others from High School and gathered as many as she could for reunions. She married Raymond Stimson September 4, 1959 and was with him for more than 50 years before his death. They didn’t have children and she always said her friends were her family. She felt blessed having so many friends that loved her and that she loved dearly. She was often overcome by the blessing that flowed from her friends and the love she felt for them. She is survived by her cousins Carol Lee, Scott Edwards as well as too many friends to mention each by name. Her parents and several friends preceded her in death. She had a group of friends that met the first Sunday of each month for 15 years to have breakfast, laugh and share stories. She had a very special place in her heart for her students at the Creative Center in Visalia. Judy loved her small town of Exeter and was a founding member of the Art Gallery and Museum and was still on board of directors. Judy touched the lives of everyone she met because of her big heart and she never met a stranger. She leaves a legacy of love and will be missed by all who knew her. Visitation will be held at Evans Miller Guinn Chapel on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at 9:00 am to 1:00 pm followed by a Chapel Service at 2:00 pm.
