Clayton Roe Cass - age: 61
(May 18, 1958 to July 14, 2019 )
Resident of Visalia, California
Visitation will be held Monday, July 22, 2019 from 2:00 to 6:00 pm located at Evans Miller Guinn Exeter Chapel. A Graveside Service will be held Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at 10:00 am located at Exeter District Cemetery.
Clayton Roe Cass was born in Exeter, California on May 18, 1958 to Grady Monroe Cass and Shirley Fern Baxter. He passed away on July 14, 2019 in Visalia, surrounded by family.
He spent many years in Farmersville until the early 90’s when he moved back east to the Oklahoma/ Arkansas areas where he was a truck driver and spent many days raising and fighting roosters with his son, Spanky. He recently moved back to California to be closer to his family and share his love of racing cars with his brothers and nephews. He arrived in California with his with his ’56 Chevrolet Bel-Air ready to remind people who “The Farmersville Flash” was.
Clayton was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Cass, his sister, Cheryl Newell and his son Clayton ‘Spanky’ Cass. He is survived by his father Grady Cass of Hot Springs, Arkansas, his daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Edmond Williams of Visalia and his grandchildren Hannah and Hank Williams who meant the world to him.
He is also survived by his brothers Stanley Cass and wife Teresa of Exeter, and Brady Cass and wife Sheral of Farmersville. As well as his aunt, Charlene Little, many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Clayton was also well-known by countless friends he made on the road, as well as the drag strip. He will be dearly missed by everyone whose path’s he crossed.
