Edna J. Bence - age: 97
(August 08, 1911 to June 29, 2009 ) Resident of Exeter, California Obituary: Edna was born on August 8, 1911 in Woods River, Nebraska to Roy and Carrie (Green) Davis. She married Harold Bence in Grand Junction CO on September 16, 1927. They settled in Lemon Cove where they lived until Woodlake in 1950. After Mr. Bence passed away in 1982, Edna moved to Exeter in 1984. She is the last of the Davis Family out living all of her brother Delbert and sisters Iona and Viola. Edna is survived by two sons, Harold Bence Jr. of Logan UT and Ronald Bence of Lompoc CA, one daughter Dorothy Zimmerman of Exeter, 7 Grandchildren and numerous Great and Great Great Grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 5, 2009 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM at Evans Miller Guinn Exeter Chapel. Graveside Funeral Services will be held on Monday, July 6, 2009 at 9:00 AM at the Exeter Public Cemetery District. Condolences may be sent to the family at emchapel@aol.com.
