Visitation Information:
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 4, 2010 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at Evans Miller Guinn Exeter Chapel. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at 10:00 AM at the Bethel Spanish Assembly of God Church, 1177 North Ventura, Farmersville, CA. Burial will follow at the Exeter Public Cemetery District.

Obituary:
Jose 'Chore' Alafa passed away on April 29, 2010 with his loving family by his side. Jose was born in Sebastian, Texas. He moved to Farmersville, CA in 1965. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Jose was very much loved and will be missed by his friends, neighbors and family.
He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years Ascencion “Chona” Alafa of Farmersville; his sons Arturo & Marie Alafa of Tulare, Jose & Petra Alafa of Visalia, Albert Alafa of Farmersville, Adolfo & Tina Alafa of Visalia; his daughters Martha & Rafael Gutierrez of Exeter, & Arcelia Haynes of Visalia; 21 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren: He is also survived by brothers, Donicio Alafa JR. of Manassas, VA, Guadalupe Alafa of Holgate, OH, Hector Alafa, Lima, OH, sisters Emma Kendall Biloxi, MS, Alveza Hernandez & Cristela Hinjosa, both of Lepisc, OH and Marisela Tobias of Farmersville.
