Thank you to everyone who has been friends to Reed and Peggy throughout their lives. Especially thank you to those who have poured their love and support to my dad through this time. Please leave comment or memory on this page, especially if you are from out of town. The messages will bless my dad considerably.

Peggy was a kind and generous soul. It was a pleasure to become reacquainted with her and Reed after my mother moved a few homes down from them. It was a blessing to be of service to her and her family. I will miss her smile and bright eyes.

Reed and family, I am so sorry for your loss. It's never easy to lose a family member but I am so very thankful that we know that we will see Peggy again in the presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I love you guys and am praying for you!!

I’m sending so much love and appreciation. Peggy was one of my first Sunday School teachers. I remember her soft spoken way very well. Reed and Peggy were like another set of parents to me. I have many fond memories of singing together in church and delightful times on the apple ranch. Dear Shackelfords, my heart is with you in the loss of dear Peggy. Love to you all.

Great pictures of a lady who was beautiful inside and out. My wife, Bette, once said to Peggy that when she came into the room she brought sunshine. We share your loss, Reed and family. God bless.

Dear Reed, and family, it is so hard to find fitting words for a time like this... my heart aches for you, but I trust that the God we serve, the God of comfort, will continue to be your rock. I’ve been so blessed to have share life with you over the past 50+ years. In that time, I can ever remember seeing Peggy without a smile on her face... even when there was worry or sadness in her eyes... that’s a testimony of the faith and joy in her heart. I remember, fondly, being given vitamins by my breakfast plate when I would stay over with Linda, and I remember feeling so honored when I saw my wedding picture on the mantle with the others in the house in Pollock Pines. Peggy was my mom’s best friend, and my best friend’s mom.. I am heartbroken that I cannot be there for her celebration of life... May the Lord’s presence fill that day for you.
Love always, Sue
