Rick Alan Bucholz - age: 66
(August 10, 1954 to May 03, 2021 ) Resident of Visalia, California Visitation Information: Memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at 11:00 am at Visalia New Life Church on 1905 E. Noble Ave., Visalia, CA. Obituary: Rick Alan Bucholz, at the age of 67, passed away on May 3, 2021 surrounded by family. He was born August 10, 1954 in Ventura, CA to Duane and Nadine Bucholz. He is preceded in death by his wife of over 34 years, Martha Houston Bucholz, his younger sister, Joanna Lynn Bucholz, and his father, Duane Bucholz. Rick was the only boy out of six siblings. His five living sisters are: Dian Bostard, Cheryl LeMaster, Charlene Goss, Darlene Thomas, and Christy Merrifield. He is survived by his four children: Rick Joseph Scarpello of Novato, CA, Donald Houston Bucholz of Midland, TX, Dawn Houston Bucholz of Visalia, CA, Savannah Rose Bucholz of Visalia, CA, his grandson Landon, granddaughter Katalina, and his mother, Nadine Thurman of Visalia, CA. He worked for many years as a foreman at the Visalia Winery and many more years as a foreman at Sequoia Orange (later Ventura Coastal). He loved God and he was definitely not shy about his political views. His four children were the light of his life. He will be sincerely missed by everyone who knew him. His Memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at 11:00 am at Visalia New Life Church on 1905 E. Noble Ave., Visalia, CA.
