Lawrence Ivan Holt - age: 87
(November 08, 1933 to May 06, 2021 ) Resident of Exeter, California Visitation Information: A Memorial service will be held Thursday, May 20, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Evans Miller Guinn Exeter Chapel. Obituary: Lawrence Ivan Holt resident of Exeter California passed away in Visalia on May 6, 2021. Larry was born in Inola, Oklahoma on Nov 8, 1933 to Everett and Margaret Holt. On May 31, 1954 he married the love of his life Betty Kirksey. They move to Oak View and then eventually to Grants Pass Oregon in 1967 where he resided until 2015. Lawrence worked as a carpenter until he was disabled in 1976 from a fall. He enjoyed raising Quarter Horses, gardening, and wood projects, but his passion was making and eating homemade ice cream. He is survived by his daughters Linda Lanham (husband John) of Visalia, Debra Watson (husband Bruce) of Woodinville Washington, brothers Harold and Richard Holt, sister Louise Kirksey, 6 grandchildren (Stefan Coulson, Nicholas, Jessica Watson, Carrie, Jonathan & Brian Pinckley 12 great grandchildren and 4 great great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Betty, son Dale and daughter Brenda Pinckley, infant daughter Denise, brothers Junior, Samuel & Louis, sisters Mildred Phillips Stroud and Wilma Nunes.
