Maria Luz Rios - age: 86
(July 15, 1935 to August 21, 2021 ) Resident of Exeter, California Visitation Information: A Visitation will be held Thursday, September 2, 2021 from 2:00 - 6:00 pm at Evans Miller Guinn Exeter Chapel followed by a Rosary at 6:00 pm. A Mass will be held Friday, September 3, 2021 at 10:00 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Exeter followed by a graveside service at Exeter District Cemetery. Obituary: August 21, 2021 was the day the Lord decided to take our angel home. Maria De La Rios entered her eternal life into Paradise. She was 86 years old. She was preceded in death by daughter Sylvia Rios and her son Francisco Rios JR. She is survived by her husband Francisco Rios of which they were married 71 beautiful years. She is also survived by her children Lydia Ortiz of Exeter, Joe Rios of Exeter, Yolanda Garcia of Fresno, Jesse Rios of Pico Rivera, Maricela Jimenez of Terra Bella, Frances Martinez of Exeter and Sandra Taff of Exeter. She is also survived by 36 grandchildren, 84 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren. Along with all of these family members, she is survived by many friends who she considered family. She was the matriarch of the Rios Family. People knew her as “MOM”, “Dona Luz” and Lucy. She was a strong woman and a very hard worker who loved family get togethers and being around her loved ones. She will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts. We Love You Mom.
