Octavia G. Enriquez - age: 84
(March 22, 1938 to May 07, 2022 ) Resident of Visalia, California Visitation Information: Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 from 2:00 to 6:00 pm followed by the Rosary at 6:00 at Evans Miller Guinn Chapel. A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at 10:00 AM at the Exeter District Cemetery. Obituary: Octavia Enriquez was born in Nuevo Leon, Mexico to Juan and Luz Enriquez on March 22, 1938. She passed away on May 7, 2022 in Visalia, California at the age of 84. She was our big sister who always made sure there was something to eat for dad and the rest of her five brothers. Octavia was a proud woman, worked her entire life and never once complained about it. If she had something to say you would know it she was a straightforward person with her words to say the least. I’m sure everyone here heard her at one time or another because sometimes she would get on a roll lol. When our mother passed away, she never lost a step in picking up the slack for the rest of us. With her homemade tamales, Menudo, and tortillas, she was an inspiration to her sisters-in-law too. Sunday was the day when we would all meet up at our dad’s house and we could always count on her to have something cooking in the kitchen. She definitely lived a life of service to her entire family. It would be very hard to find someone in this audience that she did not feed or cared for. She was an extraordinary woman and we will miss her dearly. She leaves behind 3 brothers Jr. Doroteo, & Juan. She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
