Vyvian was born on October 19, 1947 in Blytheville, AR to Alton Lee and Vivian (Matthews) Cooper. She graduated from Tulare Union High School in 1966 and attended College of Sequoias for Business and Fresno State University for Grant Writing. Vyvian was employed as a Workforce Development Program Coordinator with the Tulare County Workforce Investment Board. She loved Dancing, Painting, Traveling, Gardening and riding roller coasters. Vyvian retired May of 2016 from the Workforce Investment Board of Tulare County. She was known for being an expert of the state data management system and those she worked with say was a wonderful and compassionate trainer of the system. Vyvian was very involved in the Theatre departments at Green Acres Jr. High, Redwood High School and College of Sequoias. She was the 3rd Vice-President of the Charter Oaks Lions responsible for fund raising. She was a very loving, thoughtful, intelligent, and accomplished woman who taught her children perseverance, living life fully, and to have fun. She loved Mike whole-heartedly and her 3 children, 7 grandchildren, and 2 great-grand children were her pride and joy. Vyvian is survived by Michael D. Rice, her Domestic Partner of 17 years, her children Charlotte M. Johnson (Kurt Mariner), Matthew D. Timm and Samantha B. Roberts (Matthew Roberts), her Grandchildren Kimberly A. Timm, Kathryn Timm and Alexia Timm, her Great-Grandchild Antonio Gomez and Alexander Bullard. She is also survived by her brother Hugh L. Cooper (Nancy Cooper).
