Jacquelyn Jean Dixon - age: 91
(December 03, 1930 to September 23, 2022 ) Resident of Visalia, California Visitation Information: Private Family Service will be held. Obituary: Jacquelyn Jean Dixon was born on December 3, 1930 in Merced, California to Howard Cletus Davis and Esther Lura Etheridge Davis. She passed away on Friday, September 23, 2022 at the age of 91. Jacquelyn was raised and educated in Visalia, graduating from Visalia Union High School (now Redwood High School) and continued her education at University of California at Berkeley and finished at College of Sequoias, receiving her Bachelor’s Degree. On April 12, 1952 she married the love of her life, Vernon Stanley Dixon of Three Rivers in Visalia, California. They lived in Three Rivers, California where they owned and operated the Village Market from 1950 to 2021 along with their son Greg and his wife Nataliya Jacquelyn was a member of Community Presbyterian Church of Three Rivers; a member of 3R’s Lady Lions for years and a member of HSJB. In her younger years, she competed in the Miss Tulare County Pageant. Also in her early days she enjoyed snow skiing. While living in Three Rivers she enjoyed golfing, cooking, sewing and reading. Jacquelyn leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband Vernon of seventy plus years; two sons, Randal S. Dixon and Gregory D. Dixon and wife, Nataliya; one sister Donna Davis Pile, one grandson PylypYurikov and numerous nieces and nephews. Private family services will be held at a later date.
