Obituary:
On Tuesday, September 27, Wanda Chirstine Welch, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully with her family by her side. She was 77 years old. Born on September 24, 1945 to Floyd William Kidd and Meril Susan Bailey. Wanda met her husband Gloyd Welch Sr. in Olivehurts, CA. They were together for 57 years. Wanda absolutely loved to cook for friends and family. She would show up to every family function with the most delicious deserts. Her Banana Pudding with Wafers, Peanut Butter Rice Crispy Treats, and Enchiladas were famous in our family and were a staple at every get together. Wanda also loved reading, gardening, and watching her favorite TV show, NCIS. She was known as “Crazy Aunt Wanda” by her nieces and nephews due to her spirited and lively personality. She had the most incredible stories to share. She would always tell you what was on her mind and never hesitated to correct you if you were out of line. She displayed unconditional love for her friends and family. She is survived by her husband, Gloyd Welch Sr., her two sons, Gloyd Welch Jr. and Floyd Welch, and her daughter, Belinda Welch.
