Obituary:
Lois Coble Edwards peacefully passed into God’s loving arms, at the age of 97 on November 14, 2022. Her strong faith sustained her through life; she was born in Malone, Washington but was raised in Missouri and moved to Exeter in 1943. She was married to Gordon Coble until his death in 1977. Together they raised four surviving children, Pat (Ronn) Peg, Pam and Phil (Connie). Grandma Lois was blessed to be loved and to love numerous grandchildren, great-grand grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. In 1983 she met and married Quinten ‘Ed’ Edwards. They were married until his death in 2009. She embraced Ed’s two children, Bob and Carol and their children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother Roy, who gifted her with numerous nieces and nephews to love. Her half-brother Mike and her granddaughter Kristy also preceded her in death. Lois was proud of her children and of her years working as a nurse at Exeter Memorial Hospital. She felt blessed to have her church of Christ family, many special friends including her ‘fur’ baby Beau, and was truly loved by all. I would like to pass on my and my family's condolences to the family of Lois. She was an outstanding woman! She accepted our family into her family, with love and kindness. But most of all she brought love, joy and companionship to my dad (Ed).
