Visitation Information:
Visitation will begin at 5:30 pm. followed by Rosary at 6:00 p.m. at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church of Woodlake, CA on Tuesday, August 8, 2023. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m. at the Church on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 followed by burial at Woodlake cemetery.

Obituary:
Herman M. Garcia was born on October 23rd, 1934 to Cresencia and Jose in Clemenceau, Arizona. Herman enlisted in the US Army, was sent to Germany and served proudly during the Cold War Conflict. Later he wed the love of his life Esperanza, settling down in Woodlake California where they raised Michael and Connie Garcia. He retired after working 28 years in maintenance for the City of Woodlake. He was proud to be 4th degree knights of Columbus member. Along with Esperanza he was very active in his granddaughter’s upbringing enjoying an ice cream cone or milkshake after school with them. A Devout catholic, he is known by many in the church and community. He enjoyed time with his family, fishing, jokes, cartoons and occasional Amtrak train trips to Northern California to visit his daughter.
Herman was preceded in death by his parents, his love Esperanza, and his siblings Mary, Laura, Pasquel, Amador, Augie, and Pete.
He is survived by his son Michael (wife Rosie) and daughter Connie (husband Christopher), grand-daughters Jenny (husband Andrew), Nessy (John), and KayKay (husband Dawson), great grandchildren Olivia, Keaton, Kaylani, Leland, Liliana, and Wesley along with his siblings Ernie, Paul and Phyllis Jessie.
