In Memoriam : Tommy Stephens
Tommy L. Stephens - age: 73
(June 28, 1937 to November 21, 2010 ) Resident of Visalia, California Visitation Information: Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 28, 2010 at Evans Miller Guinn Exeter Chapel from 2:00 to 6:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, November 29, 2010 at 2:00 PM at the chapel. Burial will be in the Exeter District Cemetery with Military Honors. Obituary: Tommy Lee Stephens was born June 28th, 1937 in Mt Pleasant, Texas. He went home to be with the Lord on November 21, 2010. He was preceded in death by his parents Alvin and Lillie Stephens. His family migrated from Washita, Arkansas to the Farmersville/Exeter area in 1944. He graduated from Exeter High School 1955. Tommy served his country in the Army Branch of the Armed Forces during the Cold War. Upon his return home, as his father did, heworked for Early California Foods/Campbell Soup as a canary manager for 38 years until he retired. Tommy loved hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. He always had a productive garden he kept with pride and shared the best of its results with friends and family. His smile and kind spirit will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Tommy leaves behind his loving wife of 34 years, Sally Stephens as well as his son, Brian Stephens and wife, Carrieof Visalia, CA. Tommy dearly loved his grandchildren, Brie and Brody Stephens of Visalia. He is also survived by his sister, Jean Razor of Exeter, CA and brother, Morris Stephens of Mt. Ida, AR and Exeter. Tommy was preceded in death by step-sons, Ronnie and Tracy Morgan of Visalia. He will be dearly missed by many family members.
