Petra P. Rios - age: 73
(October 29, 1950 to March 20, 2024 ) Resident of Visalia, California Visitation Information: Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 from 11-2 at Evans Miller Guinn Chapel. A Memorial will continue at Evans Miller Guinn Chapel. Obituary: Petra Patty Rios, 73 of Visalia, California passed away peacefully at her home on March 20th, 2024. Patty was born to Pete and Madeline Ramirez on October 29, 1950 in Los Angeles, California. Patty grew up in Visalia where she attended Redwood High School and graduated in 1969. Patty started her family in 1967 when she had her only daughter Marcy Ramirez. In 1970 she had her first son Robert Rios Jr. then in 1975 she had her last son Joey Pena III. Patty worked at Lamp Liter Inn as a housekeeper for a few years in the early 80’s and then moved on to Kay’s Kafe where she worked for 25 years until her retirement. Patty became a full time Nanny for her grandchildren whom she adored very much. Patty loved traveling and spending time with her family. She also enjoyed spending time on her porch doing word search puzzles or relaxing listening to music enjoying her coffee in the early mornings. Patty was very attentive to the needs of others and made many sacrifices for her family. She is preceded in death by her parents Pete and Madeline Ramirez, Siblings, brother Juan Soto, Brother Ruben Soto, Sister Sandra Soto, Brother Aurthur Ramirez Ayala (Gordo), Brother Anthony Ramirez (Sapo), and her only daughter Marcy Ann Ramirez, all whom reside in Visalia. Patty leaves behind her two sons Robert Rios Jr. (Veronica Rios) and Joey Pena III, She also leaves behind nine grandchildren Tina Ramirez, Sabrina Hernandez, Robert Rios III, Ashley Rios, Alexia Rios, Nicole Cadena, Anthony Cadena, Isabella Pena and Joey Pena IV. Ten great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. She also is survived by numerous nieces and nephews as well as an Uncle Jesse Torres of Visalia and Dolores Gomes of Redondo Beach, CA.
