Johnny Ray Carter - age: 86
(July 19, 1937 to May 18, 2024 ) Resident of Exeter, California Visitation Information: Memorial Service will take place on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses at 183 S Cornucopia Rd, Exeter, CA 93221. Obituary: Johnny Ray Carter Peacefully passed away on May 18, 2024 surrounded by family. Born in Coweta, Oklahoma July 19, 1937 to Johnny Elmer Carter and Carrie Leta Carter. After working with both Alameda County and Tulare County with the Agriculture Commissioner Office/Sealer of Weights and Measures and Director of General Services for 32 years before his retirement in 2000. He went back to his roots and began farming citrus in Exeter, California. He is survived by his wife of 37 years Konda Carter, son Ron and Karen Carter of Exeter, son Scott and Cynthia Carter of Visalia, step-son Mark and Andrea McIntosh of Colorado Springs, step-daughter Donya and Darren Wimer of Billings, Montana, sister Carolyn and Dennis Parker of Visalia, sister Kaye and Patrick Warner of Visalia, 14 grand children, 11 great grand children and numerous Nephew's and Niece's.
