Obituary:
Ronnie Warren Martin, 78, of Visalia, CA. Entered into rest peacefully at his home in Visalia on May 13, 2024. He fought a long battle with cancer and lost. He served in the United States army working as a medic during the Vietnam War.

He was a retired owner and operator of California West Construction Company. He was born in Exeter, CA on December 17, 1945. He is survived by his wife Perla, of Visalia. One son, Zechariah (Bridget) Martin of Visalia. One Stepson, Paul (Karla) Pena of Visalia. Two Step Daughters, Melanie Myrick (Freddy) of Visalia and Cindy (Tom) Thomas of Tulare, whom he loved as his own. Three Step Sisters, Jackie (Jim) Ottman of Washington, Teresa Scott and Dona Huetter of Oklahoma. Two Brothers, Ricky Martin of Farmersville and Dennis (Teresa) Martin of Denair, CA.

Seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews, whom he loves very much, he loved fishing off his houseboat at Kaweah Lake and hunting and camping at Big Meadows. He was very active in the church and started outreach ministries 3 years ago in the parking lot of Farmersville Assembly of God Church.

He was a volunteer driver for the Visalia Gleaning Seniors for many years, up until the time he began to get sick. He was a clergy at Kaweah Hospital praying for those in need. He so held services at several convalescent homes up until the start of the Covid outbreak.

He didn’t hesitate to pray for anyone in need of prayers, often standing at parking lots throughout Visalia, holding up his sign “Free Prayer”. He touched so many lives and now he is in heaven with his loving parents, sisters, and friends in the arms of Jesus Christ. What a place to be. We love him and will miss him dearly.
