Obituary:
Together we gather to say goodbye to Maria Rosario Nava de Madrigal, born on the 27th of December 1933, who was survived by her twelve children: Jose Louise Madrigal, Carmen Nicola, Adolfo Madrigal, Alberto Madrigal, Salvador Madrigal, Rosalba Serrato, Vicente Madrigal, Ruben Madrigal, Jesus Madrigal, Esmeralda Costa, Miriam Madrigal, Elias Madrigal, her grandchildren, and her great grandchildren.
Her life began with struggle, having known only life’s biggest trials and hardships. However, these difficult experiences in her early life shaped her into the woman we knew until her final days. As we remember her life, we also recall her stories of resilience and determination. She faced challenges that would have broken many people, but she persevered. Her strength inspired her family to be stronger and to face their own challenges with courage and faith.
There are many dreams that she had. One of which was to own a restaurant. As we remember her, we recall the countless times she welcomed everyone into her home with open arms, offering what she had made that day. Although she never fulfilled her dream of opening a restaurant, her kitchen became a place for her family to gather, to talk, to laugh, to pray, and to celebrate.
As we say goodbye to this beautiful woman, we take comfort in knowing that she is at peace, surrounded by light and love. We will miss her dearly, but we will also celebrate her life and all that she gave us. May you rest in peace, dear Maria. Your memory will never be forgotten.
