Obituary:
Life full of Love

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Shirley "Nanny" Baxter, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother,

aunt, cousin and friend. She was born on March 15, 1950, in Exeter, California to Earl and Margaret Kyle.

She married the love of her life, Stanley Baxter, in 1966 and together they raised three wonderful children:

Kimberly Kennedy, Charlotte Scott, and Kathy Baxter. Shirley was also a cherished grandmother to six grandchildren,

Davene Adams,Joshua Edmonds, Tiffani Owens, Brandon Edmonds, Charnae Edmonds and Kenedi Baxter-Jones..

In her younger years she worked the fields picking numerous crops and driving a walnut sweeper. She worked for her

mother in law, Moselle Birrer, at the Walnut House prior to earning cosmetology license which allowed her to start

her business, Trendsetters Hair Salon in Farmersville, Ca . At the same time she partnered with her husband running

their business, Stanley Baxter Construction also in Farmersville, Ca. She later stepped out of the hair salon and partnered

again with her husband in businesses of Baxter Construction and Four Star Roofing which were both in Visalia, Ca.

In 1993 her husband preceded her in death, which Shirley then went to state boards for her General Contract licensing,
which she passed on the first time. When she finally retired from the businesses, she found herself still wanting to dabble

some helping Havner Brothers Construction and Clifford Havner Construction, in the background paperwork of the business.

As Shirley stated herself, she wore many different hats.

Shirley attendedExeter Union High School, later in life she continued her education at theCollege of Sequoias.

For several years she coached pee wee coach pitch and girls softball in Farmersville. She also played softball, both co-ed and

women's. She excelled in writing poetry and loved drawing/sketching. Those passions made her start doing Graphic Design and
was always creating beautiful and fun works of art. She most loved being helpful to anyone that needed her for taxes, wills,

legal forms, phone calls, discussing Jesus (which she stated helped her as well), graphics, or whatever the need might be.

Per Shirley's words, my greatest enjoyment of my life was my family. She loved to cook for her family and with the homemade

egg noodles with chicken, which is a favorite with the family. She would joke and say, "Make 'em and they will come."

Shirley will be remembered for her infectious laughter, kind heart, and unwavering love for her
family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Preceded in death: Husband, Stanley Baxter, parents, Earl and Margaret Kyle, sister Loretta Havner, brothers, Donnie and Doyle Kyle,

in-laws, Leon and Moselle Birrer, brother-in-laws, Leo Havner and Allen Baxter, sister-in-laws, Sandra Childres, Linda Anderson,
