Obituary:
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved brother, Pedro Herrera, who left us on September 2, 2024. He was 23 years old and loved dearly. Pedro or Pedrito, as he was fondly called by friends and family, was born on November 23, 2000 alongside his twin brother Miguel, to Adan and Maria Herrera in Visalia Ca. He grew up in Lindcove Ca, where he attended Sequoia Union. He also attended Exeter Union High School with his twin brother Miguel. He chose to work with his father for the last 5 years. They enjoyed working together for Spence Fence where they could work hard and work together. He often gave his father Adan a few extra minutes on his lunch because he knew he could do so. Pedro was a very hardworking and dedicated brother, uncle and great-uncle. He spent all his free time with family. Raising roosters and attending family gatherings were his favorite Pastimes. He also loved fishing with his family and watching Raider games. He never gave up hope that the Raiders would win the next Super Bowl. He also enjoyed going to the casino with his brother Daniel and nephews Andrew, Gabriel and Matthew. Despite his busy schedule, Pedro always made time for his family and friends. He was a loving and caring brother who was always there for his siblings whenever they needed him. He had a great sense of humor and always knew how to put a smile on everyone’s face. He and his twin brother Miguel were extremely close, they always kept in touch night and day, even when Miguel moved to Los Angeles. His nephews, nieces and great niece were the apple of his eye. Often taking Eliana, Emily, Diego and Lorenzo on food runs, their mother Elizabeth said they always returned with way too much food and drinks. He attended their games and was there to cheer them on any chance he got. They knew they could count on their Tio Pedro.
Pedro is survived by his parents, Adan and Maria Herrera, his siblings Erika, Pablo, Elizabeth, Nadia, David, Daniel, Isabel and Miguel. He was one of nine siblings who will greatly miss his smile and humor. He has two surviving grandmothers Maria Elena Herrera and Rosa Rodriguez.
Above all the love Pedro showed others was a blessing that came naturally to him. He loved who he loved, and he loved hard. You could always count on Pedro when times got tough. He would always help others with a big smile.
Rest in peace, little brother. You will always be in our hearts and memories. Your love will live on for years to come.
