Visitation Information:
Funeral Services will be on Monday, January 24, 2011 at 1:00 PM at Evans Miller Guinn Exeter Chapel. Burial will follow at the Exeter District Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 23, 2011 from 2:00 to 6:00 PM at the chapel.

Obituary:
Edward W. Petty was born on February 9, 1943 in Farmersville CA to Luther and Vilote (Lisenbery) Petty. He attended local schools in Farmersville then graduated from Exeter Union High School. He lived in Farmersville all of his life and loved to work at anything. He worked for Bostich in Visalia for many years and for Heller Industrial Plastics (formerly BP). He was also a farmer and loved to be outdoors. He was a member of the Calvary Worship Center. Edward is preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Luther Petty, Vernon Petty and Eugene Petty.
Edward is survived by one son, Scott E. Petty of Monterey CA, four brothers, Dennis Petty of Exeter, Harry Petty of Exeter, Charles Petty of Aumsville OR and David Petty of Exeter, four sisters, Yvonne Womack of Farmersville, Donna Phillips of Galesburg IL, Jenett Harris of Farmersville and Verbal Parker of Independence OR. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

To Yvonne and the rest of the family, i am so sorry to hear about Edwards death. i am sorry I cant be there tomorrow but JD has a doctors appointment in Fountain Valley tomorrow and we have to be down there. I will try to call you one day next week. Love Joy Walton Howerton
