(July 09, 1990 to October 03, 2024 ) Resident of Exeter, California Visitation Information: Visitation will be held on Monday, October 21, 2024 from 2-6 p.m. at Evans Miller Guinn Chapel in Exeter with Rosary beginning at 6:00 p.m. Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Exeter follow by a Burial. Obituary: It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved brother, Sergio Ortiz, at the age of 34. Born and Raised in Exeter, California he was well known for his radiant smile and incredible athletic abilities. Serg touched the lives of everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him and was so loved and will be missed everyday of our lives. An adventurous spirit, Serg could perform gainers off rocks at the river, skateboard with finesse, and dominate on the football field, running over and through tacklers with ease. He was a testament to determination and passion, proving that he could achieve anything he set his mind to. Serg is survived by his loving mother, Lydia Rios Ortiz, and his siblings: Luis “Burrico” Ortiz, Marcos Ortiz, Mariano Ortiz, Gabino Ortiz, Amalia Ortiz, and Mireya Ortiz. His grandmother Margarita Ortiz of Farmersville and his grandfather Francisco Rios of Exeter. He also leaves behind the many nieces and nephews he cherished and helped raise, as well as his beloved dog, Jax, who was truly his best friend. In celebrating Serg’s life, we remember his boundless energy, infectious laughter, and unwavering love for his family. A viewing will be held on October 21, 2-6 PM and Mass on October 22, 12 noon to 1 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Rest in peace, Serg. Your spirit and smirk will forever live in our hearts.
