(August 07, 1931 to December 29, 2024 ) Resident of Farmersville, California Visitation Information: Visitation will be held on Monday, January 6, 2025 at Evans Miller Guinn Exeter Chapel from 2-6 p.m. and Rosary beginning at 6:00 p.m. Mass will be held on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church follow by the burial at Exeter District Cemetery. Obituary: Maria Transito Villegas Cruz was born on August 7, 1931 in San de la Paz, Guanajuato Mexico. She was called home to be with the good lord on Sunday, December 29, 2024 at the age of 93 at her home in Farmerville, California with her loving husband, Hilario Cruz, by her side. Maria was a beloved mother, friend, and grandmother. She loved to spend time in her beautiful garden and caring for her flowers. One of her joys was going to church and being in the Lords love. Maria always filled her home with such deep caring for her family and cooking for them was one way she showed it especially when it came to signature flour tortillas. Maria will ways be loved and missed by her husband, children, family, and friends, she will always live on in our thoughts and hearts. Maria is preceded by her sons, Lorenzo and Juan Cruz, and grandson, Rudy Flores whom she is reunited in heaven with. Maria is survived by her husband, Hilario Cruz, her sons, Pedro, Jesse, Hilario Jr. Her daughters Mari de la Luz, Paula, Olga, and Enriqueta; 32 Grandkids and 50 Great Grandkids and 6 Great-Great Grandkids.
