Obituary:
Charlotte Ann Wilson was born January 22, 1942 in Everett, Washington. She was the third child of eight born to brother Oscar and sister Eula Wilson. Charlotte was baptized into the General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn on April 28, 1974 by brother Melvin Rossitter. She loved spending time with her family, her fellow widow sisters, and her family of God. She loved attending church and going anywhere and everywhere anyone was willing to take her. If she had a ride, she was on the go. Sister Charlotte passed peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones on February 7, 2025. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl (Buddy) Hupp, her grandsons Donovan Matlock and Treven Matlock, her granddaughter Nikki Simonson, her son little CC, and daughter Terri Leigh. Along with those are her brothers Zearl Wilson and Greg Wilson, and her sisters Roni Flynn and Vi Smith. She is survived by her daughter Debbie Matlock of Visalia, California, her son Carl Hupp Jr. of Alabama, her daughter in law Darlene Hupp of Agra, Oklahoma, her grandson Jason (Amber) Matlock of Porterville, California, grandson Gregory Simonson of Drumright, Oklahoma and great granddaughter Sophia Grace of Drumright, Oklahoma. Along with those she is survived by her sister Sharon Shannon of Tulare, California, brother Lionel (Joyce) Wilson of Pateros, Washington, and her sister Lahna Nelson of Brewster, Washington, many nieces, nephews, and a host of brothern and friends, all who loved, and cherished her and will remember her with the love and care she showed each one of them. She was the most beautiful person inside and out. She was so much fun and so faithful to take her walks even when she couldn’t see. She was the most caring person to all who knew her. The bond between mother and daughter was so super duper special and priceless. She was the biggest example of faith and love for the lord, and was always there to give the best advice. She really would give it to you straight. She was an amazing prayer warrior that all could depend on because we all felt she had a direct line to our God. Her absence on this earth will be greatly felt, but the memories will live on forever because she had so much love and care for each and every one of us. The biggest reward is she fought a good fight, kept her faith, and made it to heaven for eternity. We will miss that beautiful second prayer she always was so faithful to pray leaving her mark on this earth.
