Obituary:
David Lynn Overacker, 65, of Tulare, California passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2026 in Tulare, California.
David was born to loving parents, Albert and Hazel Overacker on June 21, 1960. He received his education through Tulare city schools. David began working at the age of 16 in the masonry industry, laying brick and rocks on home and dairies in Tulare and Kings counties. He worked last on the DeJung dairies east of Tulare. David was a true artist in everything he did.
His hobby was mechanic work, mostly on motorcycles. He also enjoyed riding.
He was a great guy and is fondly remembered as very likeable. David would do anything to help others.
David is survived by his companion, Cheryl Best of Tulare; his sister Sandy Watson of Tulare, his children Chris Overacker of Colorado. Jeni Watson of Michigan, Melissa Leach of Kingman, AZ, David Leach of Tulare, CA, Carol Leach, Danae Laski of Tulare, CA, Matthew Laski of Nampa, ID and Crystal Post of Wisconsin, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, many family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Hazel Overacker, his sidter Connie and his brother Alfred and his son Billy.
