Obituary:
Albert James Gomez was born on April 30, 1978, in Los Angeles, California, to Julian and Priscilla Gomez. He went home to be with his Savior on July 1, 2026, at the age of 48. Albert shared 27 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Lidia Gomez. He is survived by his loving family: his wife, Lidia Gomez; his daughter, Elizabeth Gomez; his mother, Priscilla Solis; his stepfather, Manuel Solis; his brother, Julian Gomez; his sisters, Cristol Almanza and Caroline Montalvo; his sister-in-law, Paula Gomez; his stepbrother and stepsisters; and many cherished nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends. Albert worked as a pipe fitter for many years, where he was known for his strong work ethic, dedication, and willingness to lend a helping hand. Albert was a loving, kindhearted, and outgoing man who never hesitated to help those in need. He had a generous spirit and a compassionate heart that touched the lives of many. In 2020, he was recognized by the City of Visalia for his dedication to serving and feeding the homeless, a reflection of his deep desire to care for others. Affectionately known as "GMOE" Albert found joy in using music to share his faith and life experiences. As a member of the Christian music group Music 4 Life 4 Christ, he wrote and performed songs that spoke honestly about his struggles, God's faithfulness, and the victories he found through Christ. His music inspired others and reflected the hope he carried in his heart. Above all, Albert loved the Lord. His faith was the foundation of his life, and he was always eager to share God's love, grace, and message of salvation with everyone he met. His kindness, generosity, unwavering faith, and infectious smile will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, but his legacy of love and service will continue to live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and community.
