Barbara Jean Kemp - age: 80
(February 01, 1946 to July 10, 2026 ) Resident of Farmersville, California Visitation Information: A private burial will be held for immediate family members. A memorial service will be held on August 8th at the Assembly of God in Farmersville at 5:30pm, located at 867 E Ash St, Farmersville, CA 93223, USA all who would like to come celebrate Barbara’s life are welcome!! Obituary: On July 10th, 2026 Barbara Jean Kemp passed away surrounded by her loved ones. Born on February 1st, 1946 in Roswell, New Mexico, the land of the aliens, to her parents Joe and Cora Holdridge, and soon moved to Farmersville, California at age 2 with her 3 brothers and 4 sisters, where she would live out her life along side her beloved husband Melvin and their two children Michael and Andrea. Barbara was a devoted christian and proved that by always showing unconditional love, compassion, and kindness to everyone she met. Anyone who knew Barbara, knew she was never one to complain about anything, despite the hardships she was dealt. It’s beautiful to know her faith is what kept her prosperous. Barbara absolutely loved and looked forward to going to church and seeing her church family every week. Barbara will be missed by so many especially her grandchildren Obie, Chloe, and Jonah alongside her dogs Bobby Joe and Oakley. She will be remembered for her love of God, funky food combinations, and a good caramel ribbon crunch oat milk Frappuccino.
