In Memoriam : Edna Scott

I can't imagine what my life would have been like without my Aunt Edna. She taught me how to love without conditions; she taught me to keep on going when the going was tough; she taught me how to laugh and have fun. She was a mixture of high class and country and never met a stranger. I will always cherish the nights I got to crawl in bed with her--we'd giggle the night away, like teenagers. The last time I saw her was on her 100th birthday, and she danced with her grandson. Her body may have been worn out, but she was fiesty in her mind. She was so faithful to visit her sister (my mom) in Oklahoma--this trip she took to Heaven to see her. I know they are celebrating big!

Aunt Enda will be truly missed by her Oklahoma family. Although the miles kept us apart, we always carried her in our hearts. She touched our lives in a very special way, and she has left us with many precious memories.

I am so sorry to hear about grandma Edna. She was a great loving woman, and a very sweet person. She will always be in our hearts. She was grandma Edna to alot of people relative or not to many of us. I am very thankful to have known her. My thoughts and prayers for the family.
