A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at 2:00 PM at the Avalon Care Center, 1010 Ventura Avenue, Chowchilla, CA 93610, (559) 665-4826. Burial was in the Exeter District Cemetery.

Roger and Jeff, Please know how sorry I am at the loss of your sweet, sweet mother, Marcella. She always had a smile on her face and such nice things to say about other people. Rpger, I remember visiting your mom and dad when I was visiting Aunt Vera - she always took me to see you in Alameda. All good memories. Jeff, I remember visiting with you in Alameda also but more so in Lindsay. She always took such good care of you and always wanted to do so. I am praying that God will grant you both peace that only He can give during your time of sorrow. I love you both and will see you at the Memorial Service. Mother, Geraldine, sends her love and if I may relate a rather cute story that I was told, Mother and Marcella always teased their other cousins about being more related to each other than to them as they were 'double cousins' Marcella and Mother's parents were both from the Jolly family and the Morris family. Now is that confusing enough for you? Ha! Seriously, God bless both of you, and your family as well, Roger. Pat also sends her love and prayers to you.
