Obituary:
Pansy A. Pitman Martin Thompson, former Lindsay CA resident passed away on November 11, 2011 at home in Exeter CA, surrounded by her loving husband of 10 years C. Howard Thompson and her family. Pansy was born on August 4, 1924 in Lindsay, CA to James S. and Alta R. Pittman. In Pansy’s younger years she loved being around horses and was runner up Rodeo Queen of Visalia CA in the 1940, at the age of sixteen. Pansy raised six children before going to work for both Lindsay Olives and Lindsay Fruit.
She is survived by her husband, C. Howard Thompson as well as her six children; Roberta Reeser, James Martin Sr., Pamela Tuey, Jacquline Wilkie, Bernice Minor and Rodney Martin. She loved and adored her nine grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren.
