Joseph W. Burdge JR. - age: 84
(June 29, 1927 to November 17, 2011 ) Resident of Exeter, California Visitation Information: Visitation will be held on Wednesday November 23, 2011 at Evans Miller Guinn Chapel from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm with a Graveside Service following at 2:00 pm at the Exeter District Cemetery. Obituary: Lester was born on June 29, 1927 in Picher Oklahoma to Lester W. Burdge SR and Cleo Flossie (Hart) Burdge. Lester enjoyed woodworking and to work on cars. He had a special love for his "Baby Boy" Peanuts who was his shadow and was always with him. After the death of his first wife Helen, he married Bonnie in 2005. He is also preceded in death by his parents, sisters Alene Blas, Pauline Ricketts, Claudine Rufo, Earlene Burdge, and Nadine Drake. Lester is survived by his wife Bonnie of Exeter; son Glen Burdge and wife Ada of Pacheco CA; daughter Candie Crites of Miami OK; brother Johnny Burdge and wife Inez of Farmersville; sisters Wiladean Rainier and husband Bill of Grove OK, Jackie Miller of Miami OK and Carolyn Street and husband James of Baxter Springs KS. He is also survived by 4 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren. He will be missed by all of his family and many friends.
