Inez Orlee Hankins - age: 97
(March 20, 1912 to September 18, 2009 ) Resident of Exeter, California Visitation Information: Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at 2:00 PM at the Exeter Public Cemetery District. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.evansmillerguinnchapel.com. Services entrusted to Evans Miller Guinn Exeter Chapel. Obituary: Orlee was born March 20, 1912 in Foss, Oklahoma. She passed away September 18, 2009 in Lindsay California. As a young girl, Orlee lived in Longdale Oklahoma during the great flu epidemic when her two younger sisters and many of her cousins died. Her family move to Delta Colorado where some years later she married Ernie Hankins. The couple moved to San Diego where they worked in the aircraft factory. After her husband returned from military service they settled in Exeter where Orlee resided for more than 60 years. Orlee’s husband Ernie and daughter Mary Childree preceded her in death. She is survived by a son, Dale, seven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. To the family of Inez Hankins- Inez worked for my father, Neal D. Barker, for many years at the Orange Packing Company. She was a very special lady and always so kind to our family. My father passed away quite a few years ago but my mother is still alive (96) , doing well and now living here in Visalia. I often helped out in the packing house office and remember Inez well. She was always so kind and helped me out a lot. Please accept our family's sincere sympathy in the loss of your mother, grandmother and great- grandmother! Sincerely, Patricia Barker Smith
