Obituary:
Jerry Patino, 50, of Farmersville, CA entered into our Dear Lords’ glorious Kingdom, the Raiders 50 yard line, on April 19, 2012. He went peacefully with his sister Cindy by his side at home.
Jerry was born in Tulare, CA on July 27, 1961 to Frank Patino & Christina Vega.
He was raised in Farmersville and attended both Hester and Snowden Schools. Jerry learned to plumb and became and expert plumber. He use to always say that he would teach anybody that was willing to know everything about being a plumber, from the ground up. He did mentor a few and did it so easily because he was a patient and understanding leader. He loved his profession. He never worked at any other job, doing his calling for 30 (or more) years!
Besides his daughters, Jerry’s passion in life was his beloved Oakland Raiders, where he now has his lifetime season tickets on the 50 yard line, 10 rows up. Thank you Lord God for hooking him up! He was blessed to attend so many games and most of those were with his daughter Renay. He also cherished Kobe and Company, the World Champion Los Angeles Lakers and the World Champion San Francisco Giants.
A few of the things he loved were, firstly, his beloved cat Monster (he misses you, Bro). He also enjoyed cooking shows, barbecuing and the “#21” at Moe’s To Go. For dessert, lemon drops, while watching NCIS.
His legacy lives on with his three daughters Renay Patino, 29, Amber Marie Patino, 25 and Tiffany Anne Donnahoe, 22. Jerry also leaves behind his dad, Frank Patino, Jr. and his mother, Christina Vega, both of Farmersville, CA. Three brothers, Frank H. Patino of Goshen, CA, Robert Patino of Farmersville, CA and Jack H. Patino of Visalia, CA. He only had one sister, Cindy Patino Gasca, also of Farmersville. He is also survived by 3 nephews, 9 nieces, 5 great-nephews and 6 great-nieces.
Services will begin with a Rosary on Thursday April 26, 2012 at 6:00pm at Evans Miller Guinn Chapel in Exeter, CA. A Mass will be said in celebration of Jerry on April 27, 2012 at 9:00am at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Farmersville, CA. There will be no viewing, in respect for Jerry’s wishes to be cremated.
The family wishes to thank Kaweah Delta Medical Center and Visalia Hospice for their care and expertise during our trying times. The family also wishes to thank ALL the family and friends who have come by or called. Your hugs, support, shoulders to cry on and kind words will never be forgotten.
I love you, Daddy O!!!
