Eliga - Patton - age: 90
(July 23, 1921 to May 01, 2012 ) Resident of Tulare, California Visitation Information: Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 3, 2012 from 2:00 to 6:00 PM at Evans Miller Guinn Chapel in Exeter. Funeral Services will be on Friday, May 4, 2012 at 10:00 AM in the chapel followed by burial in the Exeter District Cemetery. Obituary: Eliga was born on July 23, 1921 to Henry and Flora Mae (Langham) Patton in Milton, OK. He moved to the Visalia/Ivanhoe area 60 years ago. He served in the U.S. Army and married Ethel in Ivanhoe in 1947. He loved to garden and play Dominos and Horseshoes. He was an ordained minister and loved to preach. Ethel passed away in 2005. He moved to Tulare to be closer to his children. Eliga is survived by three sons, Danny and wife Mary Patton of Sacramento, Dennis and wife Amanda Patton of Tulare, Dexter and wife Carol Patton of Tulare; one daughter Diane and husband Kevin Findley of Hinton, OK. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
