Obituary:
Devern was born on April 19, 1945 in Choctaw, AR to Blanch and Chester Lovell. She passed away on December 5, 2012 in Visalia CA at the age of 67. She moved to Farmersville at the age of 1 and has lived in this area all of her life, attending local schools. She met and the love of her life Clovis McGill and they married on June 21, 1963. They raised their family in Farmersville. Devern worked for the County of Tulare for 25 years.
Devern loved her family and all of the family gatherings. She was a hard working woman who loved to read mystery novels and play crosswords. She had a special love for her church and could be found reading her Bible. She was a member of the Full Gospel Temple in Farmersville.
Devern is preceded in death by her husband Clovis in 2007. She is survived by her sons, Ted McGill and Mike McGill both of Farmersville; her daughter Debbie Kenyon and husband Bill of Exeter; one brother Lester Lovell of Farmersville; two sisters, Betty McGill of Exeter and Ellen Jackson of Farmersville. She is also survived her grandchildren Randon McGill, Ashley McGill, Nichol Kenyon and Billy Kenyon III as well as two great grandchildren.
