Helen V. Ketner - age: 94
(April 01, 1918 to December 10, 2012 ) Resident of Visalia, California Visitation Information: At Helen's request, there will be no services. Burial will be in the Visalia District Cemetery. Obituary: Helen V. Ketner, 94, of Visalia passed away on December 10, 2012 in Tulare, CA. She was born in Alberta Canada, to John H. and Marie Sears Davis on April 1, 1918. Helen attended schools in a number of different states. She married Wm. Bryan Ketner in Drexel, MO in 1934. The couple came to Visalia in 1937 and have maintained a home here since. Helen attended College of the Sequoias night classes several years to complete her education. She worked in the medical field until her retirement. She was a member of St. Paul’s Anglican Church in Visalia. Helen enjoyed reading, oil painting and her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Wm. Bryan Ketner and daughter, Karol Elliott. Helen is survived by her son, Wm. B. Ketner Jr. of Modesto; her Brother John H. Davis of Bakersfield; four Granddaughters Gina Hirayama of Tulare, Lisa Guinn, Karyn Ketner and Jana Evans all of Visalia; seven great grandchildren Buddy, Bryan, Barry and Brooke Hirayama, Jeffrey Ketner, Ashley and Jake Guinn. She is also survived by four great great grandchildren Maddox and Maycee, Kiano and Kai Hirayama.
