Gene Perkett - age: 84
(November 13, 1928 to November 19, 2012 ) Resident of Porterville, Formally Of Farme, California Visitation Information: Graveside Services will be held on Friday, December 28, 2012 at 10:00 am at the Exeter District Cemetery. Obituary: Gene was born on November 13, 1928 in Bragg Oklahoma to Eva (Taylor) and Perry Perkett. They moved to the Farmersville area as a child. He married the former Johnnie M. Keenom and they made their home in Farmersville. He worked as a Child Care Provider for more than 40 years. Gene was a member of the Farmersville Baptist Church for many years. He loved his Model A and was a “Cowboy” He is preceded in death by his wife who passed away in 1998. Gene is survived by his son, Rocky of Oregon; his Daughter-in-law Edith of Porterville; his sister Faye of Coalinga; and his grandchildren Jason, Sammy, Jonathan, Sarah & Boyd, Ryan and Colby. He is also survived by many great grandchildren.
