Robert C Walter Jr. (Bob Walter)

Bob was born in Exeter, California to Robert C Walter and Barbara Madge McNees on April 4th, 1922. He gently departed this life on January 19th, 2013 in Visalia CA at the age of 90.

Bob grew up on his family's ranch in Exeter, and graduated from Exeter Union High School in 1940. He attended COS where he received an associate’s degree in business and later studied at UC Berkeley.

In 1950 Bob joined R C Walter & Sons family business of growing, shipping and packing Emperor Table Grapes. He married Helen Patricia Henry (Pat) of Fresno in 1951, and together they raised a family in Exeter. Bob was active in the Kiwanis and the Masonic Lodge.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Pat, and brother Don. Surviving relatives include his children Kay Soares of Fresno, Cal Walter of Exeter, his sister Helen Pinkham of Exeter, nieces Michelle Henry of Alexandria, VA, Suzanne Henry of Los Angeles, Jene Curell of Centerview OH, Janet Kuhn of Fresno, Marilyn Alltucker of Springdale, UT, Nephew Chuck Pinkham of El Segundo and brother and sister-in-law Bill and Loris Henry of Fresno.
