Obituary:
Christopher Keith Allen
"Topher"
Chris entered this life in a hurry in an ambulance in his parents front yard in Northshore, CA on November 29,1983 and he left the way he entered, in a hurry, on January 12, 2014 in Tulare, CA. He always lived by his own rules.
Chris,"Topher" to his friends, never crawled as an infant, that was too slow for him. He was always in a hurry to find that next great ...adventure. Chris lived a full life, doing more in his short years, than most of us ever dream of doing in a long life. He was a wonderful son, brother, and friend. He could walk into a room and light up the world with his smile. Chris was goofy, and could make a person laugh, like no other, even on your worst day. He was the life of the party, and he shared his love and enthusiasm with every person he ever met.
Chris loved to ride his boat, his watercraft, camp, fish, hunt, spend time with family and friends, and ride the open air on his Harley Davidson.
Chris also had a home in Starkweather, ND, where he enjoyed hunting, riding his snowmobile, dirt biking and ice fishing.
Chris graduated from Tulare Western in 2002 and finished his education at WyoTech University, in Laramie, Wyoming.
Chris leaves behind a legacy of love to, his mother, Paula Lasseter of Midway Park, NC. His parents, Earl and Yolonda Allen of Tulare, CA. Brother Greg Lasseter and sister, Brittney Rhoads and husband Vincent of Midway Park, NC. Brothers Rick Hodson, Jr. and fiance Amber and Derek Hodson and wife Lula, all of Tulare, CA. Grandmother Peggy O'Dell of Sutherlin, OR, Grandparents Gene and Suzanne Capron of Pomona, CA, Van and Rosemary Allen of Lakeside, CA and Earl and Fredi Hammer of Mocksville, NC. He is also survived by many aunts and uncles, 8 nieces and nephews whom he doted on and played with as if he, too, was a childhood friend, not just an uncle.
Chris had too many friends to name, but his life was shared with his companion, Shelbi Enos, and very special friends, whom he called his family, Ryan and Sarah Giannini, Kevin Elliot , Matt Viera, and his cousin Joshua Weece Vaughn.
Chris will be welcomed into the loving arms of his sister Anneka Lasseter, grandmother Cathy Weece, special friend Beau DeLima, and his beloved dog, Powers, in the heavens above.
A memorial, followed by a gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday, January 25 from 3 p.m. until midnight at 1696 E. Paradise, Tulare. Come as you are, whenever you like, stay as little or as long as you want. Let's eat, drink and be merry as we share memories of Topher. BYOB!
A special thanks to Evans Miller Guinn Chapel of Exeter, who have made the arrangements for Christopher. The outpouring of love and generosity given from John and Diane Guinn, who knew and loved Chris and cared for him as if he was their own. There are not enough words to express our gratitude.
