Nowell was born in Loveland Colorado on July 3, 1920 to Elbert and Sophia (Hohnhorst) Nowell. She moved from San Antonio Texas to Exeter 7 years ago. She is preceded in death by her parents, sisters Mildred, Nadine and Fern, brothers Ray and Bobby. Opal loved to walk daily and enjoyed reading and doing crossword puzzles. She thoroughly enjoyed her family BBQ’s, activities and trips that she called “Adventures”. Opal is survived by her family of nieces and nephews; Lloyd (Linda) Hunter of San Antonio TX, Cliff (Pattie) Erickson of Denver CO, Pam (Wayne) Weller of Exeter, Steve (Diane) Heater of Hesperia CA and numerous great nieces and nephews. She is also survived my countless friends and extended family members.
