Obituary:
Florence “May” Detherage was born in Ava MO to Lonnie and Sadie (Davis) Atchison on August 6, 1920. She was married to Ray Detherage. She worked at Klink Citrus as a grader for over 40 years. She is preceded in death by her husband Ray, one son Jerry Detherage and one grand-daughter Julie Case.
May is survived by her daughters, Margie (Paul) Breshears, Dollie (Willie) Case, Linda (Ben) Packard and Barbie (Sonny) Bogan. She is also survived by three sisters, and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

I am very sorry for your loss. May was such a sweet gal and a wonderful neighbor. My son and I would take walks around our property and sometimes May was outside and we would stop and say hello. She always had kind words. We would see pheasants by her house sometimes. My father likes to feed them and I think May did too. We will miss her deeply, but will remember her and what a great lady she was.

To the family of "Aunt May" I am so sorry to be leaving condolences this late. We hadn't heard until just a few days ago of her death. My thoughts and prayers are with you
